ReCommon: A scalable framework for regenerative communities
So many of us have dreams of living in a resilient community, in harmony with each other and the land. What does the next evolution of ecovillage design look like? What new tools and systems are available for us to acquire and effectively govern community-held land? At ReCommon, we are building the operating system for regenerative community land tenure, weaving together elements of the community land trust movement, permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and decentralized web3 governance technologies. This informative workshop will cover the new physical and digital tools available for regenerative community development. Ultimately, this is all in service of our collective vision to form a distributed network of resilient bioregional communities. ReCommon is connected with bioregional regeneration efforts in several countries and is also leading a new effort in Colorado. Attendees of this workshop will walk away inspired and with actionable next steps for activating their community to start a land-based project, build resiliency into their community, and join the regenerative movement.
