At the age of 6 in a rural mountain home nestled in the deep woods of Vermont, McWavy (Sarah McAndrew) began in depth preparation to become a professional classical pianist. Along the way, a similarly deep appreciation for jazz and soul music lead to the desire to learn the alto,tenor, and baritone saxophone. Her inspiration to compose what she calls “Future-Jazz” started to grow from the world around her and the broad spectrum of music she listened to in her free time.
