The Colorado Project
The Colorado Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded by glassartists. Our Mission is to create an environment that will help build community and relationships throughout the artistic culture by hosting philanthropic projects and events. We believe that the power of artistic collaborations can make the world a better place. We are a here to bring a spectacular glass blowing show, bringing some of the most talented glassartists in the industry blowing one of a kind works of art. A fire, lights, visual extraordinaire multi sensory experience.
In 2012 we will be raising money to help support a member of the Colorado community, Lydia Tillman. On July 5, 2011 In Ft Collins, Lydia survived a terrible and brutal attack from a stranger who beat, assaulted, and set her house on fire. She bravely escaped out of her burning house by jumping out the second story window. Her amazing strength, courage determination and forgiveness has allowed her to continue her journey in life. Lydia deserves the best chance possible for a new life, and we can help by assisting with her medical bills to get a jaw reconstruction surgery to realign her jaw so she can eat solid food again and help during rehabilitation.
