PLEX Yoga is a yoga movement based dance party! The class is all asana (yoga posture) and then put to some of your favorite tunes! The goal of guiding students through a PLEX Yoga class is to connect the movements of yoga asana with the breath and rhythm of dance. The connection of the breath with a choreographed asana sequence helps the student to deepen their awareness to their breath.
Ultimately PLEX Yoga will help students more successfully tap into their breath connection. PLEX Yoga brings together the heart of dance and the spirit of yoga. Most yogis don’t go to dance class and most dancers don’t go to yoga class, yet they both need each other. Plex combines the two worlds and will leave the students balanced, exercised, and with a sense of pride that they not only can learn a sequence, but they get the chance to feel beautiful just for them selves, no audience or sweaty exhausting yoga class needed.
Through PLEX Yoga the student will have a chance to feel graceful, strong, and successful.
