Christine Andersen aka: Chrystalline, has been dancing nearly her whole life. She studied classical ballet and gymnastics from a young age, performing and competing nationally for 10 years. In 2010, Christine found herself combining belly dance and acrobatics in a local circus ensemble, Cirque Stupendo. With a passion for the unusual, and a desire to be upside-down, this seemed the perfect combination for her performance art. Chrystalline’s acrobatic belly dance performances bring an unusual flair to the art of tribal fusion belly dance.

In addition to belly dance, Christine has been a licensed massage therapist for 9 years. She co-owns an Herbal CSA in Iowa called Wild Rose Apothecary. Wild Rose focuses on bioregional herbalism, making plant medicines, and educating the public on the edible and medicinal plants of the midwest. Christine is also an apprenticing midwife and a home birthing, homeschooling mother of two delightful children.
