- Important Camping Announcement -
Just as we sent our crews in to clear the campgrounds for the 2010 event we were notified by Larimer County officials that the Federal Bureau of Land Management has designated our traditional camping site a Bald Eagle nesting site and we have been prohibited from using this location.
Thankfully we have secured a new campground at last minute. The new campground is 6 miles further down highway 287 (please see directions below). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and hope you help us keep this pristine area of Northern Colorado environmentally sound.
For five years Sonic Bloom has taken pride in hosting an environmentally thoughtful event featuring the best in live electronic music, art, performance art and conscious education. Once again we will be working with local groups such as ZeroHero to help manage waste efforts and to help uphold the highest standards in recycling and environmental protection on a large community scale. Thanks to you, we have always left the campgrounds as clean and serene as we find them.
Sonic Bloom is excited about the new camping location, for this new site will be a friendly festival camping scene. We will have vast open space to play around in and a beautiful view of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains! You can look forward to our best “Bass Camp” yet with classes and workshops hosted in the dome, along with a Solar powered vending village provided by Solsystems Productions and the unified field area for gathering and sharing your art. This area will be open for all Sonic Bloom attendees during the day for attending workshops.
Please remember to bring extra tents and tarps for shade, bug repellent, water and always be good to your neighbor! No Fires or Open Flames and no pets will be allowed!!
Please Note: All campers will be shuttled up to the Mishawaka from the new campground directly. We will be hosting a parking ONLY area in the original lot at the base of the canyon, off HWY 14. Remember NO CAMPING in the parking area!
Camping passes will be available at the gates of the new designated camping area and all other passes will be available at the Mishawaka box office located at Mishawaka.
