Lani Gordon is an inspired and dedicated movement artist. With a background in many forms of movement including Aerial Acrobatics, Fire Dancing, Partner Acrobatics, yoga, and dance she enjoys sharing her passion through teaching and performing. Based out of Boulder Colorado, she travels around the country to share her passion and has worked with a variety of companies including Quixotic Fusion, The String Cheese Incident, George Cardin Circus, Emancipator and Cirque USA. Lani loves inspiring others to find expression and liberation through movement and sees the art that she does as an ecstatic celebration for life.
Julia Set of Fractal Tribe, based out of Boulder, CO, performs and teaches acro, specializing in fire-acro. Lani’s love for inspiring others to find expression and liberation through the art of movement fuels her passion in performance and teaching. Her wide background in dance forms including aerial acrobatics, fire dance, partner acrobatics and modern, has provided her the opportunity to contribute to a variety of groups including Quixotic, Future Simple Project, The String Cheese Incident, and Emancipator. Joe’s interest in circus is driven by the emergent behavior that arises out of a large group motivated by personal objective and collective self-interest. His dedication to acro stems from an intense appreciation for openness and honesty, as he believes that people’s bodies do not know how to lie. Julia Set’s intent is to be an inspiration to reach beyond the imagined limits and catch the real dreams thought impossible.
